2026 Calendar - The Art of Mar Williams

In 2025, Google removed some cultural dates from everyone's calendars, so for my 2026 calendar I added back: 

• Pride Month
• Black History month
• Holocaust Remembrance Day
• Hispanic Heritage Month
• Indigenous People's Month

Plus a bunch more

• Choctaw Calendar *lunar
• Moon Phases
• Queer History & Events
• Indigenous History & Events
• And some other stuff

tldr; I'm just an artist with internet access that's interested in things, so don't go taking me as any kind of expert 

For the Choctaw dates, I'm using the currently accepted months put out by CNO. BUT, I've shifted the months to their associated lunar dates (instead of just landing on the first of the month). 
I researched to shift to what I believe is accurate in an attempt to connect with older traditions that resonate for me.

BUT The (solar) Choctaw Calendar has arrived in its current form by people who know 1000x more than I do, and before that has varied community to community, and year to year based on a *sometimes included* additional lunar month that isn't captured here because of conflicting available sources on where it falls. 

So take what I've done with a grain of salt and all that.
